Airdrie Celebrates 100 Years !
I'm so excited to participate in the celebration of our cities birthday, by creating a couture costume for Airdrie's first Woman Mayor !!
We have designed a stunning emerald green douppionni silk day dress with ivory lace and satin chiffon. Waite till you see it? Stunning!!
To complete the look, a Merry Widow Hat!!, custom designed by Celina Peterson of www. Little House of Hats.com Gorgeous!
Mayor Bruce will kick of summer celebrations with the July 1, Canada Day parade.
The official Homecoming celebration will be at the Nose Creek Park, Main street Airdrie on September 10 to 13, 2009.
Who knows where else Mayor Bruce will appear in costume?? I'll keep you posted.
